COVID-19 Update
The COVID-19 outbreak has rapidly developed into a global pandemic, with significant consequences that are touching all our lives. Business continuity and the protection of employees, customers and supply chains has become a critical focus for us all here at Brainbox Ltd.
Like so many, we have been closely monitoring the announcements and guidance from Governments and all relevant organisations over the last few weeks and days in an attempt to do the right thing and to ensure everyone’s safety and well-being going forward.
To this end and in these complicated and ever changing times, the health and safety of our team and customers is very much at the forefront of our minds and so I wanted to let you know what steps we have taken to help us all stay well and healthy.
Our Team
Following recommendations from Public Health Officials and Government, we have implemented and enabled all of the Brainbox team to work from home and instructed that they follow all official guidance on social distancing etc.
All upcoming business-related travel has been postponed until further notice or alternative arrangements have been made; however, we will continue to deliver training and advice remotely via telephone, email and video calls.
We would therefore love to encourage you to reach out and contact us to discuss anything NIBS or neuroscience related, as we are all missing our interactions with you and we are missing the challenges of your questions and queries.
OUr Customers
As a valued customer, or potential customer, you are still be able to reach one of the Brainbox team to discuss anything product or technique related, and we are more than happy to help answer any technical questions you have regarding your current or future research studies.
The team still have access to demonstration and test devices, so can actively help solve a problem, explain and show you how a device operates and more, or just give you a demonstration of some of the exciting techniques we have available.
Now is an excellent time to explore new ideas and to think about all of those things that are on the ‘To Do List’ that never seem to manage to get to the top of that list. We would be more than happy to engage and get involved in these trying times.
Long story short, we are here, and our team are on hand to help you.
Our usual customer service operation remains functional.
We will continue to fulfil our current orders and will keep you abreast of delivery schedules and arrangements, working with you to accommodate your own current situation.

Brainbox Initiative
The current schedule for Brainbox Initiative activities has been temporarily disrupted.
The most immediate workshops have been cancelled.
At this present time, the Summer Workshop Series and the annual Brainbox Initiative Conference remain scheduled. The Young Investigator Award 2020 and the Research Challenge 2020 remain open and entries are still being accepted. For details please visit the Brainbox Initiative website.
To help stimulate discussion and learning throughout this time, we are proud to introduce our series of Brainbox Initiative Webinars: a brand new series of free, interactive events featuring field-leading guest speakers that have been designed to provide ongoing support, training, and engagement in the neuroscience community.
One other thing that we have recently launched, in an attempt to allow the growing Brainbox Initiative community to engage with each other, is a new online forum. Maybe this is the ideal time to kick off some debates and discussions with the scientific committee, previous award winners, workshop speakers and participants, as well as the rest of the Brainbox team, about all things NIBS.
We will get through this, I am sure and hope that we can all learn something from these events. In the meantime, we hope that you and your families stay positive, well and healthy, and don’t forget to stay in touch.
Yours sincerely and all the very best,
Andrew Thomas
Managing Director
