2021: BOXED
As another year draws to a close, we would like to send a special thank you out to everyone who has played a part in Brainbox's 2021. While it wasn't the return to normality that we had all hoped for, it has nonetheless been an exceptionally rewarding year for us.
2021 has seen us welcome a host of innovative new products to the Brainbox catalogue, from revolutionary portable fNIRS solutions, to state-of-the-art interactive robotics systems, to computational modelling systems and many more that we think will bring tremendous advances to non-invasive brain stimulation research.
Speaking of advances in research, we have been delighted to share this year with more laboratories and researchers from around the world than ever before - and while, sadly, we haven't been able to visit you all in person, it has been brilliant to gain so many insights into the ongoing research that is being carried out with our systems. In 2021 alone, we have helped to set up another 52 laboratories at institutions around the world, and we can't wait to find out how all this equipment will be used.
We were pleased, this year, to briefly return to meeting some of you face-to-face as our team cautiously resumed travel to meet you at two events. It was a fantastic experience to encounter so many new faces at the 2021 MEDICA Trade Fair which saw the official launch of our newly CE-certified nurostym tES, as well as to meet up with both old and new friends at the 4th International Brain Stimulation Conference in Charleston this December.
Looking ahead to 2022, we are confident that we will be able to rejoin even more of you in person to discuss your research at the Brainbox Initiative Conference in London next September. After two years of events online, we're very excited to welcome everyone back to the Wellcome Collection for what promises to be our best event yet.
Of course, we will also be bringing back the Brainbox Initiative Webinar Series for a third year of free, interactive sessions and we invite you all to join us - both as attendees to learn more about the non-invasive brain stimulation research being carried out around the world, and as speakers for those of you who would like to share your work with our audience.
We recently had the pleasure of welcoming our 6,000th attendee to the Brainbox Initiative Webinar Series, and we hope to welcome many more of you in the coming years.
From the whole team at Brainbox, we hope that you have a very happy and healthy holiday season and we look forward to seeing you again in 2022.
