Poster Submissions for the Brainbox Initiative Conference 2021 Now Open
The call for posters for the Brainbox Initiative Conference 2021 is now officially open until September 1, 2021.
This year sees the return of the Brainbox Initiative Conference in an online format, running from September 21 - 24. Established in 2017, the Brainbox Initiative Conference brings together leading research from international early and mid-career neuroscientists working with non-invasive brain stimulation techniques (TMS, tES, TUS/tFUS) and field-leading keynote speakers who have helped shape NIBS research across their careers.
All researchers working with non-invasive brain stimulation and/or brain imaging techniques are encouraged to submit a poster to present at the online conference.
The Brainbox Initiative has worked hard to make the online poster presentations as engaging and valuable an experience as possible for presenters, taking on feedback from a number of other conferences and symposia to ensure that each presenter's work reaches as wide an audience as possible. To achieve this, each poster submitted will be displayed on the conference website (follow this link for an archive of 2020 posters) alongside a dedicated thread on the Brainbox Initiative Forum where presenters will be able to answer questions about their work. All posters are also supported by a live, three-minute pitch to all attendees of the conference in order to convey the main 'take-home' message of their research and stimulate further discussion.
Each year, a selection of posters, chosen by the Brainbox Initiative Scientific Committee for their scientific rigour, are rewarded with a generous cash prize sponsored by Brainbox Ltd.
For 2021, due to the ongoing effects of the pandemic impacting the progress of research, the Brainbox Initiative is once again accepting submissions of posters covering:
- Completed research;
- Ongoing research;
- Null results;
- Planned future research.
The call for posters is now open on the Brainbox Initiative website, and will remain open until September 1, 2021.
