The Brainsight NIBS Robot is an automated stimulator positioning system that navigates to any location on the participant's skull under Brainsight Neuronavigation control, tracks head motion, and reorients the stimulator in real time.
Remove manual coil holding from your protocol and gain targeting accuracy, stable fixation across long sessions, and reproducible placement from trial to trial and study to study with the advanced features of the Brainsight NIBS Robot.

Brainsight NIBS Robot
Effortlessly navigate your TMS coil or TUS transducer to any location on your participant’s skull with just the click of a button.
Concentric arc joints give the arm whole-spherical access with millimetre precision, and automatic reorientation corrects alignment the moment the participant moves, removing misalignment, human error, and researcher fatigue from every session.

System Components
The Brainsight NIBS Robot works seamlessly with the Brainsight Neuronavigation system for real-time corrections. As Brainsight detects head motion and tracks target location, the Robot adjusts the TMS coil or TUS transducer placement instantly, maintaining accurate fixation without manual intervention.
Participant Chair
Housing the robotic arm within a fully integrated design, the chair accommodates the concentric arcs for unobstructed whole-head access. Height-adjustable and engineered for comfort, it supports extended experimental sessions without compromising the Robot's range of motion.
Stimulator Accessories
Laboratory-ready out of the box, the Robot comes with all required mounting hardware for attaching your stimulator to the robotic arm, including TMS coil holders, TUS transducer mounts, and Brainsight trackers.
Device Capabilities
Whole-Head Reachability
Reach any stimulation site on the head with the participant remaining stationary. The subject-centric arc design provides optimal flexibility for targeting deep and peripheral regions alike.

Millimetre Precision
Maintain targeting within 2mm of your stimulation site across repeated trials. The robotic arm's high position repeatability ensures fixation remains stable throughout your entire TMS or TUS session.

Constrained Safety System
The robotic arm is physically constrained to a spherical surface surrounding the head, preventing collisions and ensuring safe navigation.
The stimulator lowers only when hovering over the target, then engages a spring suspension system that manages contact pressure automatically. The Robot calculates spring deflection in real time, accommodating head movement without rigidly holding the stimulator against the participant.
Compatibility
- Transcranial Ultrasound Stimulation (TUS) Compatibility – The Brainsight NIBS Robot is currently compatible with most non-invasive TUS devices, including the NeuroFUS PRO.
- Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation Compatibility - Currently compatible with the Elevate cTMS device, with expanded TMS compatibility, including DuoMAG, rolling out soon.
- Brainsight Neuronavigation – The Robot works alongside all current versions of Brainsight using a Lyra or Vega camera, without requiring additional software. The neuronavigation system is a core component of the Robot's targeting functionality.
