NeuroFUS Transducers
Drive targeted neuromodulation with millimetre-level focal precision and electronic beam steering. Designed for direct lab integration, NeuroFUS transducers configure to your specific spatial target, depth requirement, and subject model.
TRANSDUCER COMPONENTS
- Transducer Versions: Select from three distinct transducer series: CTX for peripheral transcranial stimulation in human and non-human primate models, DPX to reach subcortical structures unattainable with surface methods, and uTX for high-precision rodent and small-animal neuromodulation research.
- Frequency Range: Match acoustic wave profiles (250 kHz, 500 kHz, 1000 kHz, or 2500 kHz) directly to subject skull morphology and depth requirements. Utilise lower frequencies for broad acoustic delivery and higher frequencies to achieve tight, precise focal stimulation.
- Channels: Deploy 2-channel arrays for stable, broad-volume stimulation in baseline protocols, or step up to 4-channel arrays to steer focal depth electronically along the acoustic axis without repositioning the hardware.

DEVICE CAPABILITIES
Flexibility
Calibrate and execute multi-site protocols from a single NeuroFUS TPO unit, scaling your experimental paradigm across variable sample types and spatial targets.
High Spatial Resolution
Combine hardware with k-Plan TUS planning software and Brainsight neuronavigation to model skull attenuation, visualising target placement in subject-specific MRI space, and stimulate brain regions with millimetre precision.
Seamless Transmission
Reduce air-bubble artefacts and skull morphology noise using water bladder coupling (BCT) paired with standard ultrasound gel setups.
Handle with Ease
Effortlessly secure transducers using the NeuroFUS ergonomic snap-on handles, included with all systems. Upgrade provision and comfort with participant-mounted headgear, or the Brainsight NIBS Robot for fully automated position control.
MRI Compatibility
Acquire simultaneous fMRI and TUS data without signal sacrificing performance using specialised non-magnetic matching networks and cabling.
Multi-Planar Targeting
Intersect two 4-channel transducers to perform crossbeam focal overlapping, concentrating acoustic energy on precise subcortical structures while safeguarding surface tissue.
